Express Your Creativity

Sage Enjoys a Day of Painting

It’s important to find ways to explore your artistic sides. Draw. Paint. Sing. Dance. Do whatever you want. Just make sure to feed your creativity as often as possible.

Sage recently spent an afternoon in Dupont Circle with her watercolor paint set. As always, she had a fantastic time.

Adults sometimes forget that life isn’t all work, work, work. Hey, you’ve got to play sometimes!

Whatever you choose to do, just remember to relax and have fun. The great thing about art is that its meaning and significance is in the eye of the beholder. That just means that some people may share your taste, and others may not. This doesn’t mean that your art is good or bad. It simply means that you have a unique way of seeing the world and expressing your place within it.

Countless musicians, actors, and painters were misunderstood during their times. The creative genius works like that sometimes. So don’t be discouraged by negative criticism or people who tell you that you aren’t good enough. Just remember to be true to yourself, bring the inner vision to life, and have fun.
